Hello there, I am Alessandro, your local expert here in Tuscany, I am a professional photographer and certified Trekking & Cyclotouristic guide. I am the organizer of this free event.
For the occasion I partnered up with our friends from the Instagram page @Switchbacksaturday to create a ride here in Tuscany including as many switchback as possible.
The aim will be to finish the 100km of the route in program where we tried to include all the nicest roads and switchback of the Monti Pisani. I will be there leading and guiding the group as well as taking photos to the participants to make this a memorable day spent together.

9:30 am Start of the ride heading to the first climb.
Re group expected at the summit of each climb.
Opportunity to coffee stop or food at the km 39 & 62
Return at Bike Village expected by 4 pm

This is a free group ride with gpx track distributed to participants in advance. The ride has nothing to do with anything competitive. The event is to be considered self supported so there are no organized refreshments along the route. However depending on the size of the group we will try to stop several times for a coffee stop when possible.

To participate, we invite you to register by filling out the form at the bottom of the page so that we can update you on time schedule, route and share with you the photos at the end of the ride.

Once you have registered through the registration form, we will be able to get in touch with you and keep you informed about any sort of news. In case of bad weather or forecast of heavy rain, the option of postponing the ride to the next day will be considered. We hope this will not be the case.

The selected meeting point, also start and end of this ride is the Bike Village Cafe, Via delle Sorgenti, 59, 56017 San Giuliano Terme PI. We will meet at 9 am to then roll together at 9 am

No, you can just join for only a part of the ride. Of course we would love to have you with us for all the length of it.

Registration Form
To be sure of being able to partecipate to this ride we ask you to fill this form with your personal datas. In this way we can keep you updated on any modification of the program, send you the .gpx file of the track and we will be able to share with you the photos of the event at the end of the ride.
