Cycling diaries
A journal through some of my favorite places I have ridden, out and about on the saddle, not just trainings but also experiencing and feeling the countryside and the surroundings.
Otoño Patagonico
Autumn it is that time of the year where first days of snow might come and all the native trees little by little turn into these reddish tones.
Dutch Polders
On a day you can cover long distances and easily commute from your home to work even if you live at 40km of distance. Often days are characterized by strong amount of wind making your route planning pretty much associated to weather condition.
Scotland
These roads that seem to be heading nowhere always surprise me, on my way up I always find more adventures and places that remind me of the beauty of being alive.
Patagonia gravel
Most roads are actually off-road, meaning stretches of tarmac are very short. It is a place where more than anywhere I have ever been, nature does it's job and humans have not interfered much yet.
Dunes of Zuid
The scenery is beautiful and possibly the wildest one in the Netherlands. You will be surprised with the amount of deer you can spot along the road on the near hills made of sand
Road Biking in Lucca
Lucca is what it’s commonly known as a “hidden gem”. It’s no wonder why it’s the place many cycling pros -both training and retired- choose it as their home away from home.
Peak District
In this part of the country the landscape is characterized by continuous rolling hills and vast fields which are often partitioned by low stone walls, a very old and traditional method.
Tulips Season
Riding next to these fields is something difficult to describe: colors everywhere and such an intense aroma coming from the flowers (not just tulips, but also hyacinths for instance).
Tuscany
Tuscany is the favorite destination for many cyclists due to the high amount of sunny dry days per year making this region a paradise for anyone who enjoys cycling.
